Might be a bit out there but don't use AV or any other of that crapware. Haven't used one for ages myself. Just get Virtual PC 2007 for example and use a virtual machine for all your needs except gaming. So if you have problems just wipe the virut...

You're right, there is a memory leak and is even mentioned in a very recent dev blog . From past experience I'm sure the developers will crush this bug.

It's true that the graphics card is.... well.... Try updating the graphics driver with Omega Drivers and if it still doesn't work you'll need to update the card.

Even though you ran some memory tests for the RAM then you should remove one stick, try the game if you still crash then install the RAM again and remove the other one and try the game again. I've had a faulty RAM which memory tests didn't detect ...

Also make sure that the date is correct on your computers, wrong day, month or even year can mess this up I believe. At least worth the check.

Not entirely sure if this will work but might be worth a try. Click Start -> Run and type dxdiag and press Enter. Click on the Sound tab and lower the Hardware sound acceleration level to the lowest. Now try running the game again.

Had these problems myself, this is a bug for sure but it¦s not an Eve bug. My in game settings would never save, the cap was never correct, I would run out of cap while warping right after I had undocked. I feel like I¦m repeating myself over and...

Had a little chit chat with a GM(petition for those who see conspiracy theories everywhere). Go to Teamspeak sound options and change it to wave instead of Direct. Seems there are problems with Direct sounds.
